Pistol Course (Basic)

This course will cover the fundamentals of pistol employment in a lethal force encounter. The student will learn how to safely handle a pistol, the various parts of the weapon system, cycles of operation, and techniques of employment.

- Presentation of the handgun from the holster to target and safe recovery

Shotgun Level 1 provides shooters with a firm foundation of the proper employment of a shotgun as a means of lethal force. Shooters will learn proper ammunition uses, reload techniques, and transition to a secondary weapon system.

Rounds needed: (25 Slugs, 25 Buckshot, 50 bird shot)

-Lethal/Less lethal ammunition

-Proper ammunition distances

-Tactical/Emergency reload
