Covert colors with a field grade finish
Today, we want to show you how to rattle can your piece utilizing the 3 primary Infantry colors. Dark Brown, Desert Tan and O.D. Green (Olive Drab)

Here we find a SAVAGE AXIS 308. in its natural habitat.

Locate foliage such as grass, leaves or ferns, use small branches and twigs.

Main materials list for project. I use fruit bags to give a scaled textured look when applying camo to help break up any additional hard edges or unnatural patterns.

Utilize painters tape when taping your weapon (no sticky residue) optics and trigger group area on the bottom of the frame and magwell areas.

Shake your cans well and bleed them a bit before you start that sweet, sweet Graffiti !

I like to start with grass and tag the lighter colors first and then build into the larger parts of the frame.

The dark brown pieces are sprayed in with larger sticks and twigs into the bi-pod and stock areas.

Layer your materials and continue this process until you have gone through all your colors.

The most valuable piece of advice I received when doing this along the way.
"The less you care about it the better it looks"
-Some camo dude

Now that's a Happy Savage!
